Postdoctoral Opportunity in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing

Dear Colleagues, I am hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher to join my group in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston. The successful candidate will work with me on the development and analysis of efficient algorithms for linear and nonlinear problems, with applications to high- performance scientific computing. This is a one-year position with a flexible start date, with the preference for candidates who can begin promptly. Applicants should hold a PhD in applied mathematics, scientific computing, or a related field. Experience in multigrid methods, computational PDEs, numerical linear algebra, or nonlinear solvers is desirable.
