An opening is now available for a PhD student, a research associate,
or a visiting scholar position at the City College of New York (CCNY)
of the City University of New York (CUNY). The research aims to
simulate and develop numerical models for problems in coastal ocean
flows and fluid-structure interaction. It is expected that the
candidates are highly motivated and goal-oriented, and have
1. MS degree in mechanical/civil/ocean engineering, or applied
math, or other related disciplines
2. Solid knowledge in mathematics and physics
Experience in computer programming and flow modeling and algorithms is
preferred. Background in both math and engineering is especially
welcome. People currently in the U.S. and its territories may have
priority.
