Industrial Postdoc: Uncertainty-Aware Optimization in Inverse Problems for Next-Generation 3D Scanning

DTU Denmark

Details

3Shape and DTU Compute invite applications for a 2-year Industrial Postdoctoral position partially funded by Innovation Fund Denmark. The project aims to quantify how measurement noise propagates through the iterative solvers used for reconstructing 3D dental models from scanned data, and to integrate uncertainty quantification into the iterative methods. The project is closely related to the research project DUDE (https://people.compute.dtu.dk/pcha/dude.html) headed by Prof. Per Christian Hansen. We are looking for candidates who can conduct research at the intersection of numerical linear algebra, optimization, uncertainty quantification, and computational imaging. See more details and apply for the position here: https://careers.3shape.com/jobs/8272892-postdoc-uncertainty-aware- optimization-in-inverse-problems-for-next-generation-3d-scanning Per Christian Hansen, DTU Compute, Technical Univ. of Denmark
