ETH Zürich (Department of Management, Technology & Economics) invites applications for a fully funded PhD position at the Chair of Strategic Management and Innovation led by Georg von Krogh.
Funding: Fully funded PhD (up to 4 years)
This Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF-funded project explores how artificial intelligence reshapes strategic decision-making and organizational processes. The role includes developing a dissertation composed of three high-quality papers targeting top-tier journals, with access to ETH Zurich’s strong research infrastructure and international collaborations.

Profile
Inclusion Criteria (applications not meeting these cannot be considered):
Master’s degree in Management or a related discipline (e.g., Management Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics with a management focus)
Graduation not older than two years at the time of application
Proficiency in German (spoken and written)
Proven track record of strong academic performance
Outstanding performance in the Master thesis or comparable demonstration of research potential
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
Additional Qualifications Considered an Advantage:
Knowledge or practical experience with AI, particularly in business or organizational contexts
Previous consulting or industry experience in strategy or management
